The Creative Process is a collection of individual photographs, abstract thoughts that arise through synapses. They are portraits of all creative process that anticipated future photographic series of Nàdia Maria. Images that reflect the first contact, the inspiration and interpretation of this search and capture.
WHAT TYPE OF PAPER IS THE PHOTOGRAPH PRINTED ON?
All prints are Digital Pigment prints on museum-quality acid-free papers such as Museum Etching, Canson Rag and Arches Velin. These papers are designed to meet galleries and museum longevity requirements and ensure consistency of shades 200 years old. The choice of paper is suggested by the Photographer according to his or her preferences.
WHAT IS THE PRINTING PROCESS USED?
All prints are Digital Pigment Prints using the latest top of the line technology, archival high dynamic inks and 200 years old life paper.
IS THE IMAGE SIZE THE SAME AS THE PAPER SIZE?
NO! Our prints are on standard paper sizes and we don’t alter the image size and proportions to fit the paper. Each print has a minimum of 0.5 inch white border. This is an artistic decision that belongs to the artist. Margins don’t normally exceed 2-4 inches on each side depending on the final paper size.
Born in 1984, Nàdia Maria is a Brazilian photographer based in Bauru – Sao Paulo. She started to photograph as a child, taking pictures of her dolls. Over the years she explored photography, and has studied at Senac school in Brazil.
Her relationship with the camera and the images she captures were born in her childhood, but she became even more involved in her youth, her photography became a personal journal, expressing feelings and transformations from what she was experiencing in her life.
The focus of her inspiration is poetry. And photography is her writing, her intimacy, the light and darkness of her life…
Her poetic and unique works has won recognition by many countries, with publications and exhibitions in: Spain, France, Italy, the USA, Australia, Russia, Germany, Holland (Netherlands), England, China. She has also recently been spotlighted by Vogue and National Geographic Magazines.
