A print is a method of image-making that allows a Photograph to be created more than once

A limited edition is produced in a set limited quantity. Each piece in the edition is identical and is considered an original. Limited edition photographs are generally more valuable because of the limited number available. Once a photograph is sold out, it will not be released again in that particular size.

A Certificate of Authenticity is a 4.5 x 6.5 inch card with The Print Atelier logo that’s signed by the Photographer. A COA accompanies each print and includes the Photographer’s name, artwork title, size, edition number, date of printing and paper type.

When handling your print, use the white art-handling cotton gloves we have provided with your print. If you will not be framing your print right away, it can be stored flat in a drawer in its original packaging. If you received your print in a tube, unroll the print and weigh it down flat with books or a flat weight. Most importantly, keep your print away from direct sun, humidity and heat. The Certificate of Authenticity can be kept with your print or preserved separately.

The Photographer retains all copyright to the photograph i.e. the rights to produce, reproduce, present at a public exhibition, communicate the work to the public by telecommunication, and adapt the photograph.

We split the profit from the print 50/50 with the Photographers.
