After studying communication and film, Maude began her career as a photographer, working for prestigious publications such as Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazar, Nylon, Flare and Madame Figaro. Following extended stays in Sydney, NY and Paris Maude now lives in her native Montreal where she has 3 kids and where she founded "The Print Atelier" Gallery.

Her work is recognized for its poetic sensuality, documenting the everyday life and moments of intimacy. Maude is strongly inspired by the passage of youth to adult life, she often depicts young girls exploring their inner curiosity for sexuality and role playing. She also has a fascination for women and their strength and passion for life. Maude is constantly working on personal series documenting the themes of change (adolescence, maternity, death), loneliness and sensuality. Over the last 15 years she has been involved in many group and solo exhibitions in North America.
